Snap your way to €10,000 with the LOBA Women Grant
Applications for the LOBA Women Grant open February 2026, offering female photographers €10,000, a Leica Q and support to realise a new photography project

The new Leica Oskar Barnack Award (LOBA) Women Grant shines a spotlight on outstanding female photographers around the world, complementing the Main and Newcomer LOBA Awards. By providing substantial support, the award will help turn fresh ideas into stunning image series presented as part of the Leica Oskar Barnack Award.
Applications for the first LOBA Women Grant will be accepted from the 11 February to 15 March 2026. As part of the LOBA award ceremony, the series of the first winner will be shown in Wetzlar in October 2027, before being displayed at various Leica Galleries and featured at photography festivals.
The LOBA Women Grant is aimed at professional female photographers aged 21 and over, with the winner being awarded €10,000, a Leica Q camera and professional support throughout the project. The theme is open, guided by LOBA’s focus on the connections between people and their environment.
