Sigma introduces new Art line of lenses for L-Mount cameras

A total of 11 lenses will be available covering focal lengths from 14mm to 135mm, plus the MC-21 Mount Converter

Announced today is Sigma’s new line of Art lenses, which consists of 11 prime lenses. All 11 lenses feature an optimised AF, with the AF Drive control program and high-speed communication being tuned to each lens. They’re also compatible with in-camera image stabilisation and in-camera aberration, thanks to pre-loaded data which matches corrections to the optical characteristics of the lens. Design-wise, the lenses feature a surface treatment, brass bayonet mount and rubber sealing to a dust- and splash-proof construction. Sigma has also released the MC-21 Mount Converter, allowing photographers who own a SIGMA SA mount and SIGMA’s Canon EF mount lenses to use them on L-Mount camera bodies. This means that a total of 29 Sigma lenses can be used with L-Mount systems. No price or availability has been announced yet.
