Manfrotto: ONE tripod to rule them all

No more compromises as Manfrotto’s brand-new ONE Hybrid tripod unites the best of photo and video support

Hybrid creators no longer have to compromise by choosing between tripod systems made specifically for stills or motion. The new Manfrotto ONE Hybrid tripod brings the best of both worlds together in a single, smart, Italian-made design, purpose-built for mirrorless shooters who do it all.

From smooth pans to perfect stills, the ONE Hybrid combines photo precision with video fluidity. Its new non-round leg shape delivers photo-level stability and incredible torsional resistance for effortless video movement, and its patented Xtend system allows you to deploy all leg sections at once. So, you can get set up in seconds, adjust on the fly and never miss the shot.

At its core, the versatile, multifunctional centre column tilts, levels, extends or drops low to the ground, adapting instantly to any angle or particular creative need. And when it’s paired with the Xchange quick-release system, switching between heads, sliders or rigs is as easy as just one click. No tools, no stress.

Creators can also pair the tripod with Manfrotto’s new 500X fluid video head, which features silky drag control, counterbalance for 2.4kg payloads and a hinged plate for portrait or landscape transitions, perfect for social media videos.

Available in carbon fibre or aluminium, with or without the 500X head, the ONE Hybrid is light enough for travel, strong enough for pro work and versatile enough for every creative challenge. It’s made to last, built with a focus on sustainability and long-term use, as it can be repaired if anything goes wrong.

It’s not just a tripod. It’s your all-in-one creative platform that will give lasting value and performance for years.

Five years in the making: the ONE journey

2020 – Vision takes shape

Manfrotto’s ‘Meaning Factory’ brought together 40 creative minds from brands like Adobe, Sony and Shiseido, along with photographers, filmmakers and academics. The mission: redefine what professionals truly need from their tools.

2021 – Discovery

Extensive global research uncovered the crucial shift that today’s creators are hybrid shooters, moving fluidly between photo and video. This insight sparked a new product strategy built around creative freedom, adaptability and intuitive design.

2022 – Idea generation

Cross-disciplinary teams turned insights into concepts, blending cutting-edge engineering with elegant design. Early prototypes were shown to users for real-world feedback, ensuring innovation stayed rooted in practicality.

2023 – Refinement

Manfrotto relentlessly tested and improved each function in every new version. Every mechanism was optimised, and working prototypes emerged lighter, stronger and more versatile.

2024 – Validation

More than 120 professionals across 12 countries put prototypes through 41 real-world scenarios. The verdict: 80% of users now shoot both stills and video and the new ONE Hybrid tripod met 74% of their key needs.

2025 – Manufacturing and delivery

A precision-engineered final design was built using automotive-style manufacturing and sustainable, serviceable construction. Then in summer, Manfrotto unveiled the ONE system – four hybrid-ready products designed to empower a new generation of creators to shoot anything, anywhere and with absolute stability and style.
