All About Photo Awards 2020 opens for entries

Posted on Dec 5, 2019

All About Photo‘s The Mind’s Eye Awards open for the fifth year, and there’s $10,000 in cash awards to be won.

Inspired by Henri Cartier-Bresson’s photo essay of the same name, The Mind’s Eye competition investigates the depth and thoughts behind submitted images. As such, the competition is open to all types of photography across all genres and subject matter.

All winners will have their photos showcased in a number of digital and print publications, with first place taking $5000, second place taking $2000, and $1500, $1000 and $500 being awarded to third, fourth and fifth place respectively.

Submitted photographs will be evaluated by a panel of jurors composed of eight photographers and industry professionals: Stephen Wilkes, Elizabeth Avedon, Laurent Baheux, Julia Dean, Juli Lowe, Alex Cammarano, Ann Jastrab, and Sandrine Hermand-Grisel.

The competition is open for entries from 5 December until 31 January. Photographs must be submitted to the All About Photo website. There’s a $30 entry fee for three images, and a $5 fee for each additional image thereafter. Up to 50 images may be submitted per entrant.
