Enhance your editing skills for a chance to win a pocket photo printer

When Hannah Argyle, now a professional photographer and Instagram influencer, first started taking photographs, it was just her and her camera phone. She joined Instagram shortly after the birth of her first child and, inspired by what she saw, she was eager to use photography to capture the precious first months of her young son’s life.

What’s most impressive is that Hannah’s photographic prowess is more or less self-taught. Scouring the internet and devouring YouTube tutorials, she gradually refined her skills until she began capturing the kind of images she saw in her minds’ eye.

Now she’s teamed up with Adobe to help other budding photographers do the same.

As part of Adobe’s four-week competition, ‘Shine this summer’, Hannah will be sharing tips on quick and easy ways to for beginners to get the most out of their summer photos using Adobe Lightroom Mobile. Every week, Hannah will star in a new video, walking aspiring and established photographers through a different tool in the Lightroom Mobile app.

If you’re inspired by Hannah’s editing tips, you can share the images you create on Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #ShineThisSummerUK. And to add a dose of friendly competition, there’s a HP Sprocket portable photo printer up for grabs every week. With this dinky printer, the lucky winners will be able to give their images the professional print they deserve – no matter where they are.

All you need is a smartphone, the free Lightroom Mobile app and the willingness to learn. And when you inevitably catch the photo editing bug, don’t worry – you can enter as many photos as you like.

Visit the competition website to download the app and watch Hannah’s editing tips. Then get stuck in, learn new skills and create some stunning summer shots.
