Nikon takes partnership with Only The Poets on tour across Europe

Nikon is once again partnering with British band Only The Poets to support aspiring music photographers across Europe through a new on-tour initiative designed to improve access to live music photography.

Across selected dates on Only The Poets’ April 2026 European tour, aspiring photographers in multiple cities will have the opportunity to photograph live shows with official photo passes, gaining real-world experience in professional concert environments.

Building on the success of the band’s previous collaboration with Nikon at their sold-out O2 Academy Brixton show, this expanded initiative moves beyond a single venue to create repeat opportunities across multiple countries.

Breaking into music photography often requires access to equipment, industry contacts, and live shows – resources many newcomers don’t yet have. This initiative is designed to lower those barriers by creating practical entry points for photographers who may not yet have portfolios, professional equipment, or industry connections.

Selected participants will photograph Only The Poets during the first three songs of their assigned tour date, working under the same conditions as professional live music photographers. Alongside the live shooting opportunity, participants will also receive continued support designed to help them develop beyond the show itself.

Participants will receive:

Official photo passes to photograph Only The Poets live

Entry into a Nikon camera giveaway, with two entrants receiving brand-new Nikon mirrorless camera kits

A 20% discount on Nikon equipment

Access to Nikon School online tutorials

Mentorship from Only The Poets’ tour photographer, Jordan Daniel Logan

Rather than focusing on a single moment, the initiative creates repeated access points across the European tour, supporting aspiring photographers in multiple cities and encouraging long-term development beyond their first show.”We’re delighted to once again be partnering with Only The Poets, bringing live music photography access on tour,” says Ruby Nicholson, senior communications manager for Nikon Northern Europe. “Reinforcing Nikon’s commitment to helping the next generation of photographers, winners will receive official photo passes and dedicated support, from Nikon School online tutorials and discount codes to the chance for two lucky entrants to win brand-new Nikon mirrorless camera kits. This on-tour initiative promises to be a gamechanger for aspiring music photographers.”

“Most people don’t get into music photography because they lack interest or ability, they get blocked by cost and access,” says Jordan Daniel Logan, creative lead and assistant manager for Only The Poets. “You’re expected to have the gear and experience before anyone lets you near a pit. This is about breaking that cycle. Giving people real access to real shows across the tour, so they can learn as they go and actually build something from the experience, rather than it being a one-off moment.”

Applications are now open via Only The Poets’ official website. Selected photographers will be contacted ahead of their assigned tour dates. Participants will also receive access to educational resources to help them continue developing their photography following the experience.
