You can now rent a Hasselblad camera

Hasselblad has launched its ‘Rent a Hasselblad’ service, which allows you to rent gear including the X1D-50C 4116 edition.

You can now hire Hasselblad equipment from various stores around the globe. The current UK stores participating in the service are Wex Photo Video London and Manchester, Pro Centre London and Robert White Photographic in Poole. Photographers are able to hire the Hasselblad X1D-50C 4116 edition for £78 per day, as well as lenses such as the XCD 90mm f/3.2 for £24 per day. A security deposit will be reserved on your card when securing your rental.

If within 14 days of renting gear you decide you want to purchase a Hasselblad medium format camera you can offset your rental cost against the purchase price.

Owning a Hasselblad medium format camera system is a significant investment even for a successful high-paid photographer,” said Bronius Rudnickas, Hasselblad Marketing Manager.

Consequently, many professional photographers and enthusiasts haven’t had the opportunity to see what they’re able to create with Hasselblad’s medium format technology. The ‘Rent a Hasselblad’ program is designed to change that and we’re looking forward to seeing what photographers are able to produce having easier access to our photographic tools.”
