3 Legged Thing reaches into audio with new microphone arms
3 Legged Thing has introduced a new range of desk-mounted microphone arms designed for broadcasters, podcasters and content creators
This marks the company’s first venture into audio equipment, broadening its offerings beyond tripods and photographic accessories.
The collection features three models – Annie, Steve and John – each named after notable British radio personalities. These arms can support microphones up to 1kg in weight, including USB and condenser mics, and incorporating cable management systems for a tidy setup.
Annie, inspired by DJ Annie Nightingale, is aimed at professional studios. It includes a spring-balanced mechanism for smooth, quiet movement and 360° rotation, along with flexible mounting options. It is priced at £59.99.
Steve, named after Steve Wright, is compact and adjustable, targeting podcasters and live streamers. It features a removable extension column and integrated cable management. It retails at £69.99.
John, honouring John Peel, is positioned as an entry-level option for vloggers and casual users. It offers 360° rotation, a desk clamp mount and included cable ties, with a price point of £39.99.
The microphone arms are available now. Visit the website for more information.
