Posted on May 20, 2024

The Mall Galleries in London will host the 30 Years of Light & Land Exhibition from 3-7 September, 2024

The Exhibition marks the 30th anniversary of the Light & Land photographic holiday tour company and will feature a diverse range of photographic works from around the world.

The exhibition will present a wide array of photographic styles, including traditional landscapes, architecture, street, wildlife, and documentary photography.

This variety aims to provide visitors with a comprehensive view of contemporary outdoor photography.

Featured photographers

Light & Land was founded by landscape photographer Charlie Waite and has organised over 1,000 tours in its 30-year history.

The exhibition will include works by several tour leaders, including Bill Ward, Astrid McGechan, Ed Rumble, Tom Sullam, Peter Hendrie, Charlotte Bellamy, Flavio Bosi, Adrian Beasley and Waite himself.

Fancy taking part? There are still exhibition slots available. Visit the Light & Land website to book yours today.

Expressing his excitement about the milestone, Charlie Waite stated, “The last 30 years have seen significant developments in photography. The rise of mobile phone photography and the dominance of digital over film have made capturing images more accessible than ever. At Light & Land, we continue to offer workshops and tours worldwide, helping photographers enhance their skills, form lasting friendships and deeply connect with nature.”
