Aftershoot announces Create Together Fund 2

The announcement follows the success of the first cohort in 2024, which facilitated community-driven photography gatherings aimed at fostering collaboration and skill-sharing.

In its initial phase, the Create Together Fund provided support for 27 organisers to host events in 15 cities across four countries, engaging over 600 photographers. These events included photowalks, workshops and styled shoots, offering participants the opportunity to connect and exchange ideas in person.

For 2025, Aftershoot is extending its reach, inviting applications from photographers in the United States, Canada, the UK, Europe, Brazil, Australia and New Zealand. Grants of $1,000 or $2,000 are available, with up to $5,000 allocated for larger-scale events, subject to proposal approval.

Applications for Cohort 2 are currently open and will close on February 28, 2025. Photographers interested in applying can do so through the Create Together Fund website.
