DxO delivers big with Nik Collection 8.1 update
DxO Launches Nik Collection 8.1 with free software offer

DxO has released Nik Collection 8.1, an updated version of its popular creative plugin suite, now featuring improved performance and smarter tools – and for a limited time, buyers will receive a free bonus app to enhance their editing workflow.
Available until 27 July, anyone purchasing Nik Collection 8.1 (new or upgrade) can choose between DxO PhotoLab 8 Essential Edition or DxO ViewPoint 5 at no extra cost. PhotoLab offers powerful RAW image processing, while ViewPoint delivers precision geometry correction for wide-angle shots and perspective tweaks.
Among the key new features in Nik Collection 8.1 is the ability to toggle between colour and monochrome versions of an image in Silver Efex, helping photographers fine-tune tonal edits more intuitively. The update also includes stability and performance enhancements across all plugins.
Nik Collection 8 brought major workflow enhancements including full Photoshop masking support, Smart Object editing and a redesigned dockable panel. Plug-ins like Silver Efex and Color Efex were upgraded with faster performance and smarter adjustment tools.
Nik Collection 8.1 is available now from shop.dxo.com for £145.99 (new) or £79.99 (upgrade). A 30-day free trial is also available.
