Excire launches free AI-Judged photo competition with $7000 to win

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of its AI-powered photo-management software, Excire is launching a free-to-enter photography competition, “People in Focus,” featuring instant AI judging which will run from 1-30 June and offer $7000 in cash prizes. Photographers can submit people-centric images of all types, from studio headshots and environmental portraits to everyday moments and candid street scenes.

Unlike traditional photography contests, the competition will be judged entirely by artificial intelligence. Excire’s in-house AI model has been trained by expert photographers to evaluate each image based on aesthetic characteristics. This allows for instant scoring, as well as a live leaderboard that updates in real-time.

After submitting an image, entrants can instantly review its rank; the first-place, second-place, and third-place images at the time of the competition’s close will receive $4000, $2000, and $1000, respectively. Additionally, all participants will receive a special 20% discount code to use on all Excire products (valid to 30 June).
