Introducing: Digitalab Ltd

Posted on Feb 18, 2022

Digitalab and Colorworld join forces to create one of the strongest Pro Labs in Europe

Multi-award-winning professional print labs, Digitalab and Colorworld, have announced their decision to merge. The new business will be called Digitalab Ltd and will harness its combined trading history of over 120 years to offer an impressive range of products and services – from Wall Art & Framing, Albums & Books, to Schools Photography Services and Print Products.

“This is a hugely exciting customer driven merger,” says Jill Roe, managing director of Digitalab. “We will become an even stronger entity as one company, giving us the ability to provide a far wider range of our already award-winning products and services to the photographic community.”

Managing director of Colorworld, Mike Brydon, adds: “Myself and Jill have discussed over the years the various strengths and unique attributes of each business and it became clear that aligning ourselves in a strong partnership would not only create one of the most prominent Pro Labs in Europe, but also enable us to vastly extend our product ranges and services to our all-important customers.”

The pair are determined to continue investing in the business over the coming months and years, with plans to introduce new equipment and technology that will allow them to improve ordering platforms and expand their line-up of products. They remain committed to delivering the same high standards of customer service, for which the two businesses are well-known.
