For sound pros on the move, the Tascam FR AV4 Audio Field Recorder is the perfect solution. With its lightweight and compact frame, the FR-AV4 easily integrates into any setup.

Offering 32-bit float recording, four Ultra HDDA mic preamps and a built-in mixer, FR-AV4 records up to six tracks of audio without clipping. Alongside timecode sync, HDMI pass-through and cascading support, this recorder is ideal for multi-camera workflows. Meanwhile, its USB-C interface enables DAW recording and live streaming.

Bluetooth monitoring and app control, combined with a touchscreen and jog wheel, make the device easy to control. To round up the FR-AV4’s features, the recorder also has onboard EQ, limiter, noise gate, low-cut filter, SDXC card support and flexible power options.
