New backpacks and roller bags from Think Tank
Think Tank Photo has introduced new backpacks and airport roller bags for photographers and videographers
The new additions include a series of backpacks called the DarkLight Backpack Series, along with two new roller cases called the Airport Navigator V2.0 and the Airport Roller Derby V2.0.
Think Tank DarkLight Backpack series
The DarkLight Backpack Series features laser-cut MOLLE panels and tactical webbing and allows for customisation with additional modular pouches.
Two sizes – 14L and 20L – accommodate varying amounts of equipment, such as camera bodies, lenses and laptops up to 16″ and comply with international hand luggage standards.
Comfort features include an Air-Mesh harness system and lumbar support, while an integrated rain cover and PFC-free DWR finish provide weather protection. The bags are available in Montane Green and Black.
Updated airport roller bags
The Airport Navigator V2.0 and Airport Roller Derby V2.0 are updated versions of Think Tank’s rolling camera cases, offering certain refinements.
The Navigator V2.0 includes dual access points, compartments for laptops and tablets and an eight-wheel system for smoother movement.
The Roller Derby V2.0 is designed for heavier loads, with space for larger lenses and accessories. Enhancements include reinforced handles, TSA-approved locks and user-replaceable wheels.
Both models aim to provide convenience and security for photographers on the go.
Pricing and availability
The Think Tank DarkLight Backpack 14L will retail at £174.99, with the 20L priced at £214.99. The Airport Navigator V2.0 and Roller Derby V2.0 will be available for £334.99 and £419.99 respectively. All models are expected to be available at authorised retailers in the UK and Ireland from late January 2025.
