New addition to the Olympus PEN family

The PEN E-PL9 gives you creative control and an advanced Photo mode.

Announced today is the Olympus PEN E-PL9, an interchangeable lens camera that features a 16-megapixel CMOS sensor and offers 4K 30p video functionality. Following on from it’s predecessor, the E-PL8, the E-PL9 features a new Advanced Photo (AP) mode giving users quicker access to its creative photo modes. It also has a tiltable touchscreen from which you can activate Art Filters and its AP and Scene shooting modes for quicker and easy shooting. Two new Art Filters have also been introduced – Bleach Bypass and Instant Film.

With bloggers, Vloggers and social media lovers kept in mind the E-PL9 offers combined Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, which offers faster image transfers to smart devices. What’s more, the Olympus OI Share app now offers a range of ‘How To’ video guides to help users get to grips with using the camera.

The PEN E-PL9 has a weight of 332g and will be available in white, black and brown from March 2018. Recommended retail prices are £579.99 (body only) or £649.99 with the M.ZUIKO Digital ED 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 EZ Pancake lens.
