Ninja TX marks the spot
Atomos reinvents the field monitor with the compact yet powerful Ninja TX with SDI, CFexpress, cloud features and next-gen monitoring

Atomos has launched the all-new Ninja TX as a complete reinvention of its popular 5-inch monitor-recorder that adds serious pro features in a compact, cloud-connected form factor.
Unlike previous Ninja models, the Ninja TX includes both 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 I/O, plus integrated Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth and Atomos’s AirGlu timecode technology – making it the most advanced and versatile Ninja yet. It now supports ultra-fast CFexpress Type B media for Raw recording and also captures directly to USB-C drives. Dual ports allow for simultaneous accessory connections or power options, while a secure new cable locking system ensures robust field use.
A Linux-based AtomOS delivers faster response and streamlined usability, along with OTA firmware updates. Onscreen, its 5-inch, 1500-nit touchscreen – 50% brighter than previous models – hosts a suite of pro tools including waveform, EL ZONE, vectorscope and focus aids.
Aimed at filmmakers and content creators, the Ninja TX supports Apple ProRes (including Raw), Avid DNx and H.265/H.264 codecs out of the box – no extra licenses needed. Resolutions scale up to 8K30, 4K60 and 1080p120 depending on camera output.
Ninja TX is cloud-ready, enabling direct uploads to Frame.io, Dropbox, and ATOMOSphere where 20GB of free storage is included. It can also stream via NDI 6/HX3 and record with full timecode sync via Bluetooth or RF.
Costing £835 / $999, the Ninja TX is built from the ground up with upgraded electronics, a new thermal design, and rugged portability.
