Panasonic announces Lumix TZ99 compact camera

With a 30x optical zoom lens, the Lumix TZ99 combines long-range shooting capabilities with a pocket-sized design.

The camera features a 24-720mm Leica DC lens, delivering 30x optical zoom and up to 60x magnification using the iZoom function. This is complemented by the built-in five-axis stabilisation system.

For video, the camera supports 4K recording at 30p and offers 4K photo mode, capturing rapid bursts at 30 frames per second. A 120fps HD high-speed video option adds further flexibility for creating slow-motion footage.

The TZ99 includes several features designed for travel convenience, such as a tiltable 1.8m-dot touchscreen for shooting at creative angles and USB Type-C charging for on-the-go power.

Sharing images is simplified with built-in Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity and a dedicated ‘Send Image’ button for quick transfers to smartphones.
