Shutterstock launches in-app contributor registration

Start earning money by uploading your images to the new app in seconds

With a growing base of over 650,000 contributors around the world and almost half a million assets uploaded from the Shutterstock Contributor app every month, Shutterstock has now enhanced its app to allow users to sign up and become a contributor directly from the app.

The Shutterstock Contributor app is available on iOS and Android and allows you to receive up-to-date notifications whenever one of your images sells or is added to a new collection. The app also gives handy push notifications which tell you what customers are looking for in their specific region, allowing you to go out and take more pictures or upload those you already have that fit their requirements.

After downloading the app it takes seconds to create an account, but you’ll need to go to the website to set up your payment details. Payments can be recieved through PayPal, Payoneer, Skrill or cheque by postal mail.

Once you’ve filled in your payment details and licensing options you can upload your images through the app quickly and easily, whether taken on your phone or camera, offering a quick and easy way to make money from your photos.

You can download the iOS app here and the Android app here.
