Sigma Releases Three Interchangeable Lenses for X Mount

Posted on Feb 25, 2022

The latest additions will expand the choice of lenses available for use with Fujifilm X Mount Cameras

Sigma has announced the launch of a selection of interchangeable lenses for Fujifilm X Mount mirrorless camera, starting with the 16mm f/1.4 DC DN | Contemporary, the 30mm f/1.4 DC DN | Contemporary and the 56mm f/1.4 DC DN | Contemporary. These lenses are already available for Sony E-mount, Canon EF-M mount, Micro Four Thirds Mount and L-Mount cameras.

The lenses boast control algorithms including AF drive and communication speed optimisation that have been developed specifically for X Mount interchangeable lenses. They support high-speed AF as well as AF-C (Continuous AD) and in-camera aberration correction (for supported cameras only). The lenses are weather-proofed with a rubber seal to ensure they can be safely used in a variety of environments.

The cost of the Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN | Contemporary, Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN | Contemporary and the Sigma 56mm f/1.4 DC DN | Contemporary is, respectively, £359, £289 and £379. For more information and to see detailed specs, visit Sigma’s website.

Sigma has indicated its intention to add more lenses to Sigma’s X Mount line-up in  the future – stay tuned for updates.
