Sigma’s 105mm f/2.8 DG DN Macro Art lens

Posted on Oct 8, 2020

The new Sigma 105mm f/2.8 DG DN Macro Art offers macro photographers an appealing new lens option. The mid-telephoto was built with full-frame mirrorless cameras in mind and is available for both E-mount and L-mount users.

Sigma assures sharp performance from close up to infinity, and users will notice a host of advanced functions. These include an aperture ring that can be de-clicked for micro adjustments or locked to avoid accidents, a focus limiter switch and an AFL lock button.

Thanks to a Hyper-Sonic Motor, autofocus is fast, quiet and highly accurate – faster still when in limited focus mode. AF is also optimised with the latest face and eye-detection capabilities.

For getting up close and personal with potentially messier subjects or environments, the Sigma 105mm f/2.8 DG DN Macro Art is also dust- and splash-proof.

The lens will be available globally from 23 October, priced at £699.99.
