Snapperstuff delivers bumper crop of bags

The new camera bags come in a range of styles and sizes and are aimed at wilderness and urban photographers alike

Snapperstuff has announced the sale of a host of new camera bags from MindShift and Think Tank Photo. The diverse array of products are designed with photographers on the go in mind, whether shooting in the wild, in an urban environment or in the studio.

MindShift PhotoCross

The PhotoCross 15 and PhotoCross 13 are designed for adventure photographers and come with a host of features suited to their needs. Durability and comfort are the highlights of this backpack, and key features include:

  • Weatherproof zippers and materials.
  • Durable materials provide abrasion resistance.
  • Extra-large side panel gives you complete access to all your gear.
  • Tripod or jacket carry with included straps.
  • Dedicated, padded pocket fits 15in/13in laptop (PhotoCross 15 and PhotoCross 13 respectively).
  • Waist belt is wide and removable, providing comfort and flexibility.
  • Waterproof, heavy-duty tarpaulin base.
  • Wide, body-forming shoulder straps provide superior comfort.
  • Water bottle pocket locks in most one-litre bottles.
  • Back panel with breathable 320G air mesh keeps your back cool during long days.
  • Internal zippered pockets for batteries, memory cards or other small accessories.
  • Easily accessible front pockets for filters, snacks or a light layer.
  • T-pulls are easily gripped with or without gloves.

Both bags have a volume of 20 litres and both can fit an ungripped DSLR, three to five lenses including a 70–200mm f2.8 – attached/detached for the 15 and 13 respectively – and a laptop.

  • All fabric exterior is treated with a durable water-resistant coating while fabric underside is coated with polyurethane for superior water resistance.
  • YKK weather-resistant zippers.
  • 420D high-density nylon.
  • Heavy-duty nylon tarpaulin.
  • 350g air mesh, nylon webbing.
  • Three-ply bonded nylon thread.

Interior:

  • Removable closed-cell foam dividers.
  • P210D liner.
  • Polyurethane-backed velex liner.
  • Two polyurethane coated 210T seam-sealed taffeta rain covers.
  • Nylon binding tape.
  • Three-ply bonded nylon thread.

Urban Access Backpack

Think Tank Photo’s Urban Access Backpack 15 and Urban Access Backpack 13 are designed with ease of access in mind, for photographers on the go or in the studio.

Access panels on both sides enable users to sling the backpack left or right, while the rear panel provides complete access to gear when working directly out of the bag. Plus, the centre tripod mounting system balances even large tripods securely while still allowing access to gear.

Key features include:

  • Two quick side-access panels with full-access rear panel.
  • Dedicated laptop pocket.
  • Tripod attachment on the front secures a small or large tripod with deployable cup.
  • Access a 70–200mm f/2.8 attached without taking off your bag (larger 15 size only).

The Urban Access Backpack 15 can hold one ungripped DSLR or mirrorless body with lens attached up to a 70–200mm f/2.8, three to five additional lenses, a strobe, a 15-inch laptop, plus personal gear. The smaller 13 can hold one ungripped DSLR or mirrorless body with lens attached up to a 24–70mm f/2.8, two to four additional lenses including a 70–200mm f2/.8 detached, a 13-inch laptop, plus personal gear.

  • Durable water-repellant (DWR) coating with polyurethane-backed fabric for superior water resistance.
  • 500D two-tone poly tech weave.
  • YKK RC fuse zippers.
  • 420D high-density nylon.
  • Anodised aluminum hooks.
  • Nylon webbing.
  • High-density nylon air mesh.
  • Three-ply bonded nylon thread.

Interior:

  • Stiffened closed-cell foam dividers.
  • Polyurethane-backed liner and dividers.
  • 210D nylon.
  • Super-grip velex.
  • Hexa mesh.
  • High-density nylon microfibre.
  • Two polyurethane coated nylon 190T seam-sealed rain covers.
  • Three-ply bonded nylon thread.

Retrospective V2

Think Tank Photo’s Retrospective V2 comes in five sizes – the 5, 7, 10, 20 and 30. The shoulder bag has been designed with a classic look and modern features. Key features include:

  • Soft and form-fitting with minimalist outer appearance.
  • Zippered opening to main compartment tucks away when not in use.
  • Dedicated pocket fits a tablet or small laptop (size dependent).
  • Luggage handle pass-through.
  • Collapsible water bottle pocket.
  • Hook-and-loop sound silencers offer discretion when needed.
  • Webbing rail to accommodate modular pouches or carabineer.
  • Additional dividers to subdivide compartments for smaller lenses.
  • Front pocket fits a 10in tablet (Retrospective 7, 10 and 20 only).
  • Organiser pocket.
  • Wide storage pocket on back.

Capacity differs between sizes, with the smallest bag measuring 9.5×7.8×4.9in (WxHxD) and the largest measuring 15×10.5×6.7in.
