Sony adds new SD to TOUGH memory card collection

Posted on Nov 25, 2022

The 256 GB SD card comes with increased storage and quick processing speed

Sony recently announced a new addition to their SF-G Series TOUGH memory card range — the 256 GB UHS-II V90 SD. The 256 GB card is the largest in Sony’s TOUGH line. It boasts up to 299 MB/s write and 300 MB/s read speeds, while also supporting high-resolution video recording.

Sony’s TOUGH SD cards are designed to be durable and dependable. Made with one-piece resin moulding, they’re resistant to dust, dirt, and water, and — according to Sony testing — can withstand drops of up to five metres. For added peace of mind, Sony’s Media Scan Utility lets users monitor their SD cards for wear and tear, while File Rescue can recover lost data.

The 256 GB SF-G Series TOUGH memory card is available now and costs £470. Learn more by visiting Sony’s website.
