World Aquatics and Sony have confirmed a four-year partnership covering all events until 2028.
This arrangement started at the World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25m), which is currently taking place in Budapest.
Under the agreement, official photographers and videographers will use Sony cameras, lenses and cinema equipment. Hawk-Eye Innovations, part of Sony Group, will provide video replay services.
A dedicated online platform is set to launch in late December, featuring event highlights and special medal-winner portraits.
Both World Aquatics and Sony have said that the cutting-edge technology used in the partnership will enhance how fans experience these competitions and help bring aquatic disciplines to a broader audience.
