Try out a Trichromatic!

Don’t miss your chance to get hands on with a 101MP Phase One

Phase One’s Trichromatic digital back is a 101-megapixel medium format monster that promises to offer the most closest ever colour rendition to the human eye. And thanks to Direct Digital Imaging (DDI), you’ll be able to find out if the claims are true.

On November 16, DDI is holding a Trichromatic Tour event in Leeds where attendees can get their hands on the latest back and pick the brains of Phase One experts. The event takes place at Duke Studios on Sheaf Street in Leeds, kicking off at 2pm with a demonstration of the camera by fine art and fashion photographer William Barrington-Binns, then runs until 8pm.

The event itself is free, but you must pre-register in order to guarantee your place. As well as seeing William in action, you’ll also be able to take your own shots of the image he sets up, which will see a model dressed in a stunning kimono. The Achromatic back will also be available for testing.
