Vivid celestial shots with OM E-M1 Mark III Astro
Capture distant starry skies with the OM System E-M1 Mark III Astro, designed for vivid and detailed astrophotography

OM Digital Solutions Corporation has announced the OM System E-M1 Mark III Astro Body Mount Filter Set. This interchangeable lens camera is compliant with the Micro Four Thirds System standard and is perfect for astrophotography.
This dedicated astrophotography camera is based on the E-M1 Mark III interchangeable lens camera. Capturing vivid red nebulae with a specialised Hα filter, this camera is designed to work with M.ZUIKO lenses or telescopes. It also uses Handheld High Res Shot stacking for ultra-high-resolution, low-noise astrophotography.
Additional features include C1 and C2 custom modes on the mode dial for quick starscape settings. Starry Sky AF ensures precise star focus, while Live Composite captures striking star trails. A digital level gauge also makes levelling easy in the dark, and USB/PD compatibility allows extended shooting with external power.
Users can also enjoy a broader range of photographic expression by attaching the BMF-LPC01 or BMF-SE01 soft filter. The BMF-LPC01 cuts down on light pollution from artificial light sources such as street and city lights. Alternatively, the BMF-SE01 soft filter is effective when shooting constellations rising in the easter sky or setting in the west. These can be mounted on the interior of the camera body between the mount and the image sensor.
The E-M1 Mark III Astro Set, including the filter and optional additional filters, is now available.
