World Sports Photography Awards 2024 winners’ gallery

The World Sports Photography Awards 2024 has unveiled its winners, learn more and view all the winning images below

These awards hold a unique position as the only global competition dedicated to sports photography. They are entered by elite photographers and celebrate the stunning visuals that capture the essence of sports, telling compelling stories filled with emotion, passion, athleticism, and concentration.

The competition attracted over 9,000 submissions from more than 1,400 professional sports photographers representing 80+ countries.

A striking image of Japanese gymnast Daiki Hashimoto (above) claimed the top honour this year. Captured by Belgian photographer Eric T’Kindt during the 2023 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Antwerp, Belgium, this photograph epitomises the synergy between athlete, event and photographer.
